To say my life has changed a lot in the last few months is an understatement.
- Ended a 4-year long relationship? Check.
- Find out who your real friends are due to said breakup? Check.
- Move to the city all on my own? Check.
- Find out you need to make some changes in your professional life? Check.
- Starting to date again? Check.
(Meet creepy people also fits in this section nicely)
- Gain way too much holiday weight? Double check.
- Realize you need to get back on the healthy wagon and start over? Check. Check. Check.
You get the idea.
So, I apologize for being MIA, but one of my goals for this year is to really commit to blogging since I love it so much. Even if no one reads it, it’s therapeutic to me and helps me stay accountable to my healthy lifestyle.
Without further ado, lets take a look at my new place! It’s a studio, so it’s tinnnnnny but it’s just me so it’s working out perfectly!
So, that’s what it’s looking like so far. I have quite a few things to hang on the walls yet and I want a new couch but otherwise it’s working out for now.
The best part about moving is being closer to work… well, being closer to life in general. My gym is 2 miles away, work is 3 and I’m right off of a young neighborhood. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to convince many of my friends to hangout (boooooo, friends) with me on this side of town yet, but it’ll work out. I’m sure once it’s warmer out I’ll be walking all over the city meeting people!
As for the getting healthy goals, I definitely fell off the “healthy wagon” a couple of months ago but I’m starting up a challenge with a friend where we’re keeping each other accountable so I’m hoping I’ll jump right back on!
Since I’ve been gone for awhile, here’s a few things that have happened in the past couple of months…
There you have it! Now I’m off to watch Pretty Little Liars – yay, apartment with free cable!! Going to try to get up to work out tomorrow morning, too. Wish me luck!
