I hate winter

Yep, I hate winter and that’s pretty much ALL that Milwaukee has to offer me right now. And beer. But I don’t like beer either so…

Anyways, I don’t like the snow, slush, sleet, cold, wind, etc. Wet boots soaked through to the socks? Check. Glasses filled with water/snow specs? Check. I mean, who wants to get up in the morning and walk into a windy-cold-slush-craptastic parking lot and wipe off their car in the freezing temps? Not me!

This is my "I hate snow" face

I was seriously slapping myself in the freezing numb face for not paying the extra $15/month for underground parking today… But hey, at least I have a parking lot.

Walking outside to this snow pile that was taller than me this morning outside this morning woke me up right out of California dreamland. 🙁

Enough about the snow.

Random story that took over Twitter today —> After a night of barhopping in Cedarburg, racing Italian sausage is missing

… only in Milwaukee ….

This story is literally getting NATIONAL coverage and people are offering rewards (year’s supply of mustard??) to whoever brings it back. Ha, so awesome. I don’t even care if it turns out to be a PR stunt … it was one of the most exciting parts of my day.

In other news, tonight I cooked up some turkey burgers that I found on Pinterest that I’ll use for the rest of the week.

Turkey burgers!

Turkey burgers!

They don’t look very pretty, but they smell awesome so that’s all that matters.

The rest of the night has been dedicated to catching up on blogs, looking for part-time jobs and watching HGTV. Be jealous – I lead a very exciting life.

Up at 6 a.m. for the gym tomorrow! Let’s go!!

Do you prefer warm or cold weather? I have a feeling once it’s summer and my apartment is literally 100 degrees I’ll be wishing for some snow. Hahaha, that’s a lie… I’d never wish for snow.

I am also over this Milwaukee winter! Get me back to the beach 🙂 how is the morning workout going? I’m trying to switch from evenings to mornings and it has been such a challenge for me.

It’s going okay! I went on Monday/Tuesday (not this morning because of the awful snow) and I’m going to try to go tomorrow morning. It’s really hard, but I won’t work out in the evening… it just doesn’t happen! Good luck with switching from evening to night. It’s hard, but I think it’ll be worth it! 🙂
