Hello, dear blog that I’ve ignored for the past … forever. 🙂
I’m finally all moved in and “settled” into my new place. I say settled because I’ve got myself planted on my couch, but let’s be honest … I still haven’t put away some of my stuff. Here’s a little preview!
And as for the job, I started this past Wednesday and am already loving it. It’s definitely going to be a change of pace and VERY busy with events. I’m hoping I catch on quickly!
I’ve also been trying to get back into a healthy lifestyle (which has been difficult with a Taco Bell nearby). I’ve been trying out the Conscious Cleanse and I’m liking it so far, but I’ve had a few slip-ups. I think I put too much on my plate in the last couple of weeks with moving, leaving my friends in Milwaukee, starting a new job, finding a new gym AND starting a cleanse. Poor planning on my part. 😉 Either way, it’s a great book and I really am feeling great when I follow through with their guidelines.
So, I’ll leave you with that and another promise to start blogging again. I’m feeling a bit more settled this weekend (though a bit nervous to start my first FULL week at the new job – eek!) so I think it’ll be back to loving to blog. Plus, I’m going to try to talk about my workouts to keep me accountable!
