Dolla’ Dolla’ Bills, Ya’ll (Day 1)

Time to start the #Blogtober14 “challenge” with Helene and Taylor! I’m excited for this challenge. I’m hoping that some of these posts may even be in vlog form (OOOOOOOH, CRAZY).

Starting off with Day 1, the prompt is “If you won the lottery, you’d…”

Well, let me tell you. I’m going to assume it is a very LARGE lottery because go big or go home, am I right? First of all,Β I’d probably cry for like, at least a day. Some extra monies would bring me quite a bit of piece of mind right now, so I’d cry and dance and scream and do ALL THE HAPPYS.

Then, I would immediately sign into Sallie Mae (or whoever owns my soul with private loans) and then right on over to my government loans and pay those bitches off. The next website I’d be on would be all of my credit cards, paying those off and then shredding the cards/setting them on fire so I never touch them again. What? #dramaqueen

So, now that $80,000 worth of debt is gone (not kidding), do I have anything left? If I do, I’d put a ton in savings, buy a new/practical car that doesn’t break every two weeks and buy a house or condo where I could have 95 golden retrievers and Bernese mountain dogs. Ok, maybe 95 is a bit much, soΒ at least two (of each).

I’d give a lump-sum of money to a few animal rescues, pay off my sister’s student loans (BEST SISTER AWARD) and put some money aside so my dad could retire (and my mom, too) from his crazy difficult job (BEST DAUGHTER AWARD).

And then, MAYBE if I had anything left, I’d buy a two-year membership at the really nice gym in Green Bay with a personal trainer and then buy everything on my Pinterest boards for the closet and the home. πŸ™‚ I’d jump on a plane and head off to Ireland for a few weeks with my newly toned body in my awesome clothes. Then, I’d come home and build a Chipotle right next to my apartment to counteract the personal trainer.

What about you? What would you do if you won the lottery?

  1. Katie says:

Can’t wait to read! I would go to Disney for a week, and have advance passes for everything my brother and whoever else can come along! Then I would save enough money to buy my grandparents house whenever they decide to not live there anymore. (its super old so I’d probably have to knock it down, but I love the property so much!)

  2. Diana says:

Bahahaha I love that you’d join a gym. Just skip right to the lipo and tummy tuck! I know I would! πŸ˜‰ Loving this linkup!

    • Jessie says:

Oooooh, you’re way smarter than me! I totally forgot about the quick fixes! Scratch the gym – I’m going with your idea. πŸ™‚
