About as random as it gets

I was reading through my Bloglovin’ feed the other day and came across a fun little “emotions survey” of sorts on Jessica’s blog over at Bliss & Balance. I loved reading through her answers and, let’s be real, I love me some surveys! Hope you enjoy. 🙂

Making: Lists on lists on lists. Blog lists. Grocery lists. Things I need for Ireland lists. Target lists. Shopping lists. Event lists. Lists of my lists. 😉

Cooking: I just made myself a quick turkey burger and veggies before running to the store to get everything ready for Crockpot Chicken Cream Cheese Chili. I’m trying to cut back on going out to eat and eating mostly healthy things, so time to be prepared!

Drinking: Water, water, water. Or hot chocolate because Wisconsin is COLD.

Reading: Lots and lots and lots of blogs. I haven’t really been reading any books lately, but my Bloglovin’ feed is always full.

Wanting: Boot socks. Or even just the cute little boot cuffs that make you think you’re wearing boot socks but you’re really not.

Looking: At everything Ireland! If you haven’t read yesterday’s post, you should go check it out!

Playing: Pandora … and I’m having a really, really, REALLY hard time not re-checking my Christmas stations into my shuffle. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to make it until after Thanksgiving this year.

Wasting: Hmmm … Well, I was pretty wasteful with food last week. I get on these spurts where I think I have to eat only healthy and then I make something that I absolutely don’t like and end up wasting it PLUS buying Taco Bell.  So, I’m going to start making dishes I love, even if they aren’t 100% healthy all the time and just watch portions. Everything in moderation, right?

Sewing: HAHAHA. I don’t sew.

Wishing: I’m always wishing for something, though I have had a couple of good weeks here. 🙂 Mostly I’m wishing I was closer to my friends that I miss (though I will get to see a couple of Milwaukee gals next weekend!!)

Enjoying: My new iPhone. Time with friends. Hockey games (random, but I’m hooked). Planning events. READING UP ON IRELAND!!!

Waiting: For my food to cook. I’m hangry!

Liking: Basically any male that looks my way. KIDDING.

Wondering: When I’ll find out more about my Ireland tickets so I can start plannin’. (and stop freaking out)

Loving: My new boots from Kohls and my new leather leggings. Not together, though.

Hoping: I can stick to this new found motivation (I’m calling it Get Fit for Ireland).

Marveling: At how truly blessed I am. It’s been a rough couple of years and I can’t believe the amount of good things happening to me lately. I feel undeserving. God is good!

Needing: According to my body, chips/salsa, Taco Bell and a Mountain Dew. The first few days of healthy living are the hardest.

Smelling: This wonderful new candle that my sister bought me (that I need to pay her back for).

Following: Way too many YouTube vloggers. Way. Too. Many.

Noticing: It’s getting cold and I don’t like it. It has happened EVERY SINGLE YEAR for the past 26 years of my life and I still am never prepared.

Knowing: Is it bad that I can’t figure out anything to write here? I apparently don’t know anything.

Thinking: I’m thinking about how badly I need a hair cut and new color but then remembering that I’m poor. 😉

Feeling: Accomplished after a good day of work, eating mostly healthy, grocery shopping and cooking.

Bookmarking: Lotsa new recipes on my Food Pinterest board. This probably isn’t helping the hangry issue.

Opening: All the mail that I keep letting pile up on my table.

Giggling: I’m always giggling.

See, Tom and I would get along perfectly. 🙂

Grab a few of the survey “questions” above and tell me about you!

Ha! I love that we’re the same. 🙂 I’ll be there on January 8 – I think we’re leaving right away the next day, though. We’ll be there for a St. Norbert College hockey game, so if you’re into hockey you could come out! 🙂 Once I know more about the event and what’s going on, I’ll let you know! I’m traveling with co-workers, so I’m not sure what the schedule will look like.
