Thinking Out Loud #4

This is probably going to be a super random post, but hey – that’s what TOL is for, right?

Thinking-Out-Loud2One. My soda addiction is getting out of control. I told myself once I got my Spark shipment in, I’d get rid of soda (especially since Spark is pretty expensive, so I need to stop spending money every day on a bottle of MD). Well, I think I’ve only stuck to that one day this week. *grumble* Someone motivate me, please!

Two. I’m getting more and more (andmoreandmoreandmoreandmoreandmoreandmoreandmoreandmore) excited for my birthday tomorrow! One of my best friends is coming to visit and I’m SO EXCITED TO SEE HER. We always have so much fun (if you want to read about some of that fun, check out the last time I was in Milwaukee visiting her) and we’re probably not going to sleep at all because we just have so much to talk about. I’m not going to get anything done today because I’m too excited.

super-excitedThree. I loveeeeeee dresses. Seriously, I think I love dresses more than leggings – WHAT?! I know, hard to believe. Then again, wearing leggings and a tunic is kind of like wearing a dress, no? Anyways, I’ve got one of my favorite hot pink dresses on today to celebrate my last day at work before my birthday (#birthdaydiva) Now I just need to decide if I want to wear my new blue dress from Shop Hopes tomorrow or Saturday. Ugh, my life is hard.

IMG_5788 (1)Four. I’m horrible at making decisions because I want everyone to be happy. Random thought, mostly because it just took over a week for me to decide where I wanted to eat this weekend, who I wanted to come, etc. Oh man. Too much pressure!

Five. Did you know the color red wards off evil spirits? Now you do. We’re going to a wine tasting on Saturday at a place in Green Bay that’s haunted (I know this because I went there for a ghost tour) and I’ll probably be decked out entirely in red. I don’t want Helen the ghost throwing wine glasses at me!  You can read about that here if you’re interested in seeing the background in my crazy nervousness about this place. 🙂

Six. I got my Erin Condren planner yesterday and I’m so excited! Now to go and buy ALL the stickers, pens and washi tape.

IMG_5782I’m the loser that poses with their new planner. #hatersgonnahate #whyamihashtagginginmyblogagain

Seven. The amount of energy/excitement I have right now is unreal. Thank God I have my own office, otherwise my coworkers would probably think I’m nuts if they don’t already. Also, I need to back away from the coffee …

caffeine-highOkay, there’s my randomness for today. Linking up with Amanda.

What is your favorite part about birthdays?
Any fun plans for Friday/this weekend?

P.S. I realized AFTER I published this post that I wrote about caffeine twice. Back away from the caffeine slowly, Jessie.

I’m taking you to dinner tonight and I have your Birthday present in the car already so I dont forget it. Yes it includes what I forgot to give you at Christmas BUT the other part I bought last Spring because I knew you would love it! (at least I hope so)

Stressing over birthday plans and selfies with planners, been there, done that. Love that pink dress!! I also love dresses more than anything. I’m considering going back to the corporate world, and I’m pretty sure I’m just going to wear a dress and blazer/sweater every day (hope whatever company I’m at allows that dress code!)

Yes, dresses are so awesome! We have a business casual office here, and that’s basically all I wear. Good luck in the search if you decide to go back!! 🙂 I’m excited for you.

Hi Jessie! First time reader, stopped by after the TOL link up 🙂 I learned something new – red keeps the bad spirits away? Good to know, in case I’m ever in a haunted situation. Love the EC planners, even though mine went to waste 🙁 Glad I stopped by and now have a new blog to follow! xoxo, ganeenban
