Daylight Savings Can Kiss My …

It’s been a rough morning to say the least. Yes, I’m excited that it stays lighter out later, but getting up in the morning when it’s dark out is SO HARD (#twss). I know in a month or so it’ll be light out in the morning, so I just have that to look forward to, I guess. In the meantime, I needed a Cookie Dough Iced Coffee from Dunkin Donuts this morning.

Okay, backtracking to Friday. I was sick with a cold all day at work, so a mid-afternoon coffee was necessary. I was supposed to go to a ladies’ spa night on Friday night, but ended up canceling and watched three Twilight movies instead. #singlegirlproblems

Honestly, I don’t know how I’m single when I dress like this. 😉

And no, my hair isn’t as short as it looks in the above photo, it’s just my layers. But based on the people freaking out on Instagram, apparently I need to cut my hair short. (Not going to happen)

Saturday ended up being the worst of this cold/flu thing that I had. I woke up late, hung around my apartment (who am I kidding, I watched the last two Twilight movies) and finally my sister showed up with Chipotle and dragged me out of the apartment. Probably a bad idea. We drove to a mall about a half hour from where I live and it ended up being jam-packed. I picked up a few things, but I was a cranky sick pants, so we ended up leaving. Not before I picked up two new candles from Bath & Body Works and a couple of Quest bars.

My sister stopped at Dunkin Donuts for me (which is when I found out they had the cookie dough iced coffee again – weeee!) and then dropped me off (and ran away because I was cranky) at my place. I spent the rest of the night watching stuff on my Roku, eating Quest bar *cookies* and then off to bed I went.

Sunday I woke up feeling much better, so I ran to Dunkin Donuts (I told you, the cookie dough iced coffee is a serious addiction) and then actually spent some time getting ready. After lunch, I headed out to get some shopping done and go workout.

First, I went to JC Penny and picked up a few new workout clothing items. I found out last week (on accident) that two of my black pairs of workout pants were completely see-through when I bend over. So that’s awesome! Seeings they’re the only pants I ever wear. No wonder I got male attention at the gym. I picked up a pair of black capri pants, pink capri pants and a crazy tank top.

After JCP, I headed to DSW, but didn’t find anything. I went back to TJ Maxx (even though I was there twice last week) and picked up a pair of tennis shoes. They’re super fun and colorful! Then I went over to Target, picked up some food items and then headed to my gym to burn 428 calories! I did the stairs for 30 minutes and then some kettlebell stuff. I’m feeling it today! I’m excited that soon I’ll be able to go to my new gym that I work at (I start tonight!) and won’t have to go to my cheap gross gym anymore. Lastly I stopped in at Bed, Bath and Beyond to pick up a Vegetti because I’m all about trends and I wanna see what all of the hooplah is about.

Oh, and I had Chipotle. Again. Seriously, twice in a weekend again? I lose all this weight and then have Chipotle twice and it’s all back on by Monday. Whoops.

And that was my weekend! Linking up with Meg and Katie.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting?

I totally recommend it! I get mine with skim milk instead of cream (mostly because my body hates cream) but I think it’s pretty good!

Oh my gosh, cookie dough iced coffee?!? DD is still pretty new to me & I’ve only been there twice but this sounds amazing! We found Quest “potato” chips at the store this weekend, have you tried those yet? Sounds like a good weekend!! Nothing wrong with Chipotle again!!

    • Jessie says:

Yesssss it’s so good! I get mine with skim milk instead of cream, which is what it normally comes with. I haven’t tried the Quest chips yet, but I’ve been wanting to! Let me know how they are!

    • Jessie says:

Thanks for stopping by Sarah! I’m usually a Starbucks girl, too, but DD is so much cheaper (at least for the drinks I order)!
