Friday Favorites #5

I missed out on Thursday Thoughts yesterday, mostly because I didn’t have many thoughts. πŸ˜‰ It’s been a busy week for me – my full-time job is gearing up and I started training for my job at the gym. Plus, it got nice out which means I’m takin’ walks again! It’s supposed to cool down again next week, which I’m not super happy about, but at least it won’t be negative wind chills!

So, here are some of my Friday Favorites!

Favorite Funnies:

bcc1610dc97856d6c655b6e83b10001cHA! I don’t know why, but this makes me laugh uncontrollably. Oh, Pinterest. πŸ™‚

This SNL skit is SO FUNNY. I kind of love/hate myself because I sometimes say the things they’re saying. #WannaBeValleyGirl

Favorite Beverage:

Cookie Dough Iced Coffee with almond milk instead of cream. Woooo! I need to stop drinking these.

Favorite Outfit:

I showed you this in my Day in the Life post, but I love this new skirt! Now I just need to find a few other shirts to go with this. This pink one has a stain and I want other options … like a polka dot one or one that says, “What Would Blair Waldorf Do?” πŸ™‚

Favorite Food:

IMG_6066Edamame! I’ve been loving this vegetable lately. I’ve been “trying” to eat a bit healthier, but tracking weight watchers points seems to be setting me in binge mode.

Favorite Exercises:

Takin’ long walks on the trail in the beautiful weather and …

Spin-Class-Funny-

Spin class! I love taking spin, once I can force myself to get there. I took a class last night at the new gym I work at with my coworker, Brooke. So much fun!

Favorite Thing to Plan:

I’m starting to plan for Ireland! My dad and I are meeting up on Saturday this weekend to discuss which areas we want to go to most. Though I want to cry about it, I’m starting to understand that I just won’t enjoy my time there if I have to spend it all traveling to see everything. If you have any good ideas, let me know! I know we’re flying into Dublin and I’d love to see the Blarney Castle and it’sΒ gardens, but I also want to go to the other side of the country to see the cliffs. Ahh, I don’t know what to pick! I’ve been reading over Brittany’s blog posts on Ireland (oh and if you love pretty clothes and an AMAZING person, go look at her blog) and I’m so overwhelmed!

Linking up with Katie and Heather!

What are some of your favorites?
P.S. Is anyone an awesome WordPress extraordinaire? I reply to people that leave comments, but I don’t think it notifies anyone that I have. Anyone know how to fix that?

Are you self hosted? There’s something you have to add to your blog..Google “comment reply notification” its something that was talked about at HLS, but I certainly haven’t gone through the work of actually setting it up. if you do, please have it email the person with your actual comment. I hate when I get an email that makes me click through the same post I already read, only for the writer to see something like “me too!” not worth the time.

Love the skirt, I’d get a light pink top, or maybe something floral? I just got a red and navy stripped pencil skirt that I plan on wearing with a navy tee, or maybe white, but other than that I’m stumped.
Anyways, I’d look up travelchannel.com and see if they have ireland recommendations. I’m sure you could manage both, but sometimes its nice to get settled in an area and really enjoy it instead of hustling all over. Trains/planes look the same on the inside.

Good to know! I’m the same. I do love reading the reply, but not when it takes me back to the post. I’ll look into it, thanks!! Thanks for all the Ireland info! and the skirt recommendations! You’re so helpful! πŸ™‚

Enjoy your trip to Ireland! It sounds like so much fun and I definitely want to get there at some point. Right now the UK is my number one country to visit and I also want to go back to Italy with my husband so he can appreciate all of its beauty. I think you’re going to have a wonderful, memorable trip no matter which spot you choose so try not to stress about it too much. Oh and I’m a huge fan of Dunkin coffee but I’ve never enjoyed iced coffee. That chocolate chip cookie dough concoction looks super delish that I might have to try it now.

I’m slightly contemplating getting a cookie dough coffee some time this weekend thanks to all of your pictures! I think some tank tops would look super cute with that skirt once it gets warmer πŸ™‚ I’ve noticed that I don’t get any notification on certain blogs if I comment but I guess I’ve never really looked to see if it was something I’m doing wrong? I really have NO idea…

It’s so good! I got another today haha. It’s an addiction! Good idea on the tank tops! I know when I comment on yours, I don’t get an email with your replies. I tried to fix it – are you getting this as an email?? Let me know and then I can tell you how I did it πŸ™‚
