Thank. God. It’s. Friday.
This is technically my last weekend off (that I know of) until I go to Ireland in September, so … of course I overbooked myself! I don’t know why, but this week just pulled me down for some reason! I’m going to blame the weather. I mean, seriously. One week it’s in the 60s and sunny and 5 seconds later is snowing and bitter cold again. Yeah, I know. It’s my own fault for living in Wisconsin, but I’m still going to complain about it because I would move to California in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.
Anyways, here are some of my favorites this Friday!
And that is why I don’t wear jeans.
I haven’t done much after work this week, and I seem to be home for the hour that The Big Bang Theory is playing re-runs. I’m in love with this show – especially Sheldon.
My favorite post this week was my weight loss / fitness story the other day. It’s really been a struggle for me (especially the last two weeks where I’ve been eating SO well and working out, yet the scale hasn’t budged), so that post is something I keep going back to (like this morning when I was feeling super sad about how I look). Hey, we all go through moments, right? Just gotta keep going and remind yourself how far you’ve come. I always seem to hit this specific weight (139 lbs.) and have a really hard time getting down past that. That seems to be my plateau point and I always end up going UP in weight, instead of down. Gotta keep truckin’!
Another fave? Spark. Seriously, this stuff will always be a favorite, ESPECIALLY when I give up soda (which I think I’m going to push past just Lent) and I’m trying to stay away from sugary coffee, too.
Also, you can kinda see from the picture above, but I’ve been messing around with my eye makeup the last two days. Probably a bit too much for a day look at my job, but I don’t care. Eyeliner, YES PLEASE. Another favorite.
And lastly, my favorite this week is the Tone It Up community. If you’ve never heard of Karena and Katrina, you should check them out. I follow both of their accounts on Instagram (Tone It Up and Karena Katrina) The community they’ve created is amazing, and so many wonderful women are supporting each other. I put up an Instagram post or a post in the community or something on Twitter, and I always have supportive women commenting back trying to help me out. It’s truly amazing!
That’s it for me today! Let me know some of your favorite things down below. Like makeup, because my foundation sucks. 😉
