Thinking Out Loud #12

Hi friends! Welcome to another Thinking Out Loud post. I have a lot of thoughts, so I might as well randomly write out a blog post. Linking up with Amanda!

One. My first thought is, why do strawberries suck so much out of season? I lovvvvve strawberries and since I’m doing the 24-Day Challenge right now (more on that later) I bought a package of them the other day at the grocery store. They suck! I can’t wait until the strawberry farms open and I can go get some fresh ones. YAY to living close to the country again.

Two. Speaking of the 24-Day challenge, I’m officially on Day Four – woohoo! I haven’t died yet. šŸ˜‰ Just kidding, it’s going pretty well. I wasn’t feeling so hot yesterday, but today I woke up in SUCH a good mood (which could be because of other things, but I’m going to blame it on the challenge). Plus, who wouldn’t be in a good mood drinking Spark?

P.S. I’ll be doing a few posts on the challenge, but I think I might split it up by the first 10 days (the cleanse phase) and the last 14 days (the max phase). More on that next week!

Three. Friends are the best, aren’t they? I was lucky enough to meet up with some beauties from college on Tuesday that I haven’t seen in awhile.

Four. I’m not done with the friends one. Last night was such a random night for me! I talked to one of my best friends in Washington D.C. on the phone for a collective total of over an hour, texted with my silly best friend in Charleston and randomly got added on Facebook by a friend of mine that I haven’t heard from in almost six years. Crazy night!

Also, my best friend Michelle totally talked me into doing something WAY outside of my comfort zone and then AFTERWARDS told me that she would’ve been too chicken to do it. THANKS A LOT. Actually, no really thanks. It worked out in my favor. šŸ˜‰

Five. Oliver has been an absolute asshat lately and I don’t know what that’s about. He knocked over a carton of eggs the other day, pulls the grapes out of the bowls and bats them around the house (see below for proof) and then randomly will run at me and attack my leg. Seriously?!

There's a little grape in his shadow - hard to see.

Six. Oh, online dating. How I hate you. Why do I attract the creeps? And do messages like this work on people? It was his first message to me, he’s SEVEN years younger than I am (eew) and just no. I cropped everything out because I’m not THAT mean to show his info, but still. Stop.

Seven. I work another 15-hour day today, but I have tomorrow off and I’m so excited to just have a day off! I’m hoping my body let’s me sleep in. Saturday I have an all-day event for Relay for Life, so that’ll be fun, but exhausting. I need to find something interesting to do at work tonight after 7 p.m. when it gets dead and there’s no one to talk to.

And those are my random thoughts for the day! Tell me one of your Thursday thoughts in the comments.Ā

Guys on online dating sites can be total creeps right? I’ve had so many super weird messages but at the very least they are entertaining right?

As for Spark/The Advocare challenge you definitely have to explain it and share more details. I’m totally interested and love reading about that sort of stuff.

Yeah, they’re super weird. I have met some okay guys, but they’re definitely hard to find. And I’ll definitely be talking about it – the good and the bad! šŸ™‚

I am so with you on the strawberries — I can’t wait until they are more in season! I eat them like candy sometimes! I need to google about this 21 day challenge because I don’t know anything about it! I’m really interested to try Spark though as I really need to give up diet soda for good! Ohh creepers… do you have some good/new online dating stories?!
