My weekend started a bit earlier than expected on Wednesday because there only ended up being one tennis court booked from 5-6 p.m. that night so I left early – woohoo! PLUS my full-time job let us out a little early after decorating the tree. I went to the gym then (other side of town – it’s confusing, I know) to put in my hours and got in a good lower body workout. So good that I felt like my legs were going to fall off. Is that good? We’ll pretend it is.
Thursday I woke up kinds of late and headed over to the gym for an upper body workout. I got ready at the gym and then headed over to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving. One of my younger cousins (who is like, 15 or something) decided that he was going to shoot up about 5 inches. He’s 6’3″. It’s ridiculous! Plus he’s hilarious.
After lunch/dinner (I actually didn’t eat too much, but the weight on the scale would tell you differently) I headed back to my apartment with my mom to get ready for the Packer game. It was hands down the worst game I’ve ever gone to. Not only did the Bears beat us (SERIOUSLY), the weather was absolutely miserable. It didn’t stop raining once all night, plus it was windy and cold. I’d take a subzero game over that any day. At least cold you can dress for. No matter what you wore in the rain, it was going to suck. After the game we went back to my place, took a hot shower and went to bed.
I slept in on Friday again and woke up not feeling so hot. I transferred myself from my bed to my couch and didn’t move for most of the day. I finally convinced myself to go to Biker Chicks at the gym at 5:30. I felt SO much better during the class, though the sickness crept right back in after. So I went to Target to pick up some mittens that were on sale, got a burrito bowl at Chipotle and picked up a few protein bars from Complete Nutrition. Then right back to my couch I went!
I slept like crap again on Friday night (boo) so my 5:30 a.m. wake-up call for work was more unwelcome than normal. Hence the million dollar coffee again …
After work I went home for a little bit before convincing my sister to go to a couple of stores with me plus get a really awful dinner. Apparently my diet went out the window this weekend – woohoo stress.

After a food coma, I went home and played around on Instagram, taking a bunch of screen shots, per usual.
Sunday morning I slept in and then met up with my sister again to go check out a few more things. I got a salad at Noodles & Co.
After lunch, we headed over to a few stores to check some stuff out (didn’t find anything) and then headed over to Target where I bought a bunch of groceries. Oh, and if anyone is looking to buy me something for Christmas … I’ll take these from DSW – size 7 kthanks.
We also went to Walmart and got a few more ornaments for my tree.
After my sister left, I did some decorating and filmed a small Black Friday Haul, which you can watch here if you’d like. 🙂
And then there’s today! I bought some Peanut Butter Cup protein powder that was 50% off with Travis’ code today, so that’s pretty exciting because I’m sick of the powder I currently have.
