21 Questions

I saw this post on Megan’s blog last week and I mean … if you put up a survey on your blog, I’m probably going to copy it and do it at some point. I love surveys! Reminds me of my MySpace days – anyone else?

One//Are you named after someone?
A dog. That’s what I tell people, at least. My mom had a dog named Jesse and then she had me and named me Jessie so … named after a dog. Which I’m totally okay with – I love dogs!

Two//When was the last time you cried?
Hmm… I don’t remember! Maybe in November/December? I was having a rough couple of months.

Three//Do you have kids?
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Four//If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
Heck yes. I’m so fun. ๐Ÿ™‚ But in all honesty, I try to be a really good friend, so I’d hope I’d want to be my friend. (That was really confusing to write out.)

Five//Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Chips and salsa. HANDS DOWN. But specifically the tostitos medium restaurant style salsa. It’s very specific. And now I want chips and salsa, but I have no control and girl needs to fit in a bikini in April.

Six//Do you like handwriting?
Yep!

Seven//What is your favorite cereal?
Lately it’s been theย Cap’n Crunch’s Sprinkled Donut Crunch Cereal … YUM.

PEScience Protein

Eight//What is the first thing you notice about people?
The way they act towards others. Do they smile? Do they purposely look away? Do they act judgmental?

Nine//Do you have any pets?
No dogs yet ๐Ÿ™ but I do have Oliver!

Oliver

Ten//Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings. I’m not good at scary stuff – it haunts me for life. Honestly. I still hate the time 3:13 a.m. because of The Ring. YUCK.

Eleven//Favorite TV Show?
Scandal or The Bachelor. Otherwise I don’t watch TV.

Twelve//Summer or winter?
Summer – though I do love Christmas and my birthday in the winter. I wouldn’t mind it feeling like summer, though!

Thirteen//Hugs or kisses?
Depends who it’s coming from!

Fourteen//What is the furthest you’ve been away from home?
Most likely Ireland! Though Hawaii will actually be a longer flight, which is crazy to me.

Fifteen//Do you have any special talents?
I’m told I’m very observant. Is that a talent? Basically I just pay attention to people and dig deeper than a lot of people do. Another talent would be doing really dumb things and then telling others about it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sixteen//Where were you born?
At a hospital in Green Bay, Wis. Fun times.

Seventeen//What are your hobbies?
Blogging
YouTube
Photography
Going to movies (I love this)
Working out

Eighteen//What color are your eyes?
Blue!

Coffee

Nineteen//Favorite movie?
Harry Potter series. I love them.

Twenty//What color is your car?
Dirty? It’s silver, but girl doesn’t wash her car so …

Twenty-one//What did you want to be when you grew up?
A singer. But to be honest even at 28, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up!!

Thanks again for letting me copy you, Megan! Answer one of the questions above in the comments!ย

I love your blog! Found it via some other blog, forget which, maybe Running 4 Cupcakes. Anyway……I love what you share on your blog, also love pics of your cat:) so cute! I just had to say love the Valentine’s Day perspective and honesty. I was single for decades, minus dating some, no serious relationship. I feel the single vibe on this “holiday”. I tried to not let it get to me but it did and that annoyed me. Now I met my guy and we got married last year. He is really thoughtful but I don’t want him to buy roses on that day, he has but I love flowers on some other day:) more. Oh I went to see How to be Single and it was fun–not reality that I know but very fun:)

Thank you, Amy! I’m so glad you enjoy my blog. ๐Ÿ™‚ Sometimes I feel like I’m just rambling on here, so it’s nice to hear that people enjoy reading it. Being single is interesting, let me tell you! Most of the time I love it, other times I’m over it. But, I’m also very picky so it’s mostly my own fault that I’m still single. I’d rather be single and enjoy life rather than live it with someone I don’t want to be with, you know? I’m glad you’ve found your person!!

Me too—re; being picky. I am really glad I was single for all of that time—easy to say now, but really, I had all of my freedom and no one seems to mention–ha ugh. I met the best guy at a very good time in life–when I seriously was not looking for love:)

You can copy all of my surveys, haha. ๐Ÿ™‚ You mentioned MySpace which makes me wish my account was still active because I know I used to do a TON back in the day! I totally forgot about chips & salsa… that is a huge guilty pleasure of mine too & I can’t stop after just a few. And WHAT is this doughnut Cap’n Crunch cereal??! I’ve seen your pictures of it but never knew what it was for sure. It sounds amazing!
