A day off

Whew, today is a struggle after a day off yesterday! Of course, I managed to fill my day with random crap, but it was still nice to get out and about for a little while.

I ended up getting a few new things at Forever 21 for Hawaii – well, that’s the excuse I keep giving myself. Hawaii, spring, summer, weight loss clothes … etc.

Forever 21

Don’t mind the horrible picture quality – I thought laying everything out on a blanket would look cooler. It did not.

The coral bralette and swimming suit is actually an online order from American Eagle, but the purple bralette, white cover up, floral romper and black shorts are all from Forever 21. There’s also a necklace because I thought it was cool. 🙂 And this workout tank top.

Tank Top

I love cool backs on shirts. 🙂

And finally, I made this protein waffle and OHMYGOSH.

PEScience

  • 1 serving of Snickerdoodle PEScience protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • Enough water to make the mixture watery enough (like normal waffle/pancake consistency)

I had some extra fat in my macros, but lower carbs so I put 1.5 servings of cookie butter and Walden Farms syrup (warmed up) and HOLY CRAP. Soooooo good. And it kept me full for almost 5 hours, which is not normal for me. Granted, I took a rest day yesterday, so that may be part of it, too.

So that’s a short little update on me! I’m trying to get everything done this week since I work all weekend and quite a bit next week before I leave for Hawaii. Gotta pack up. I’m hoping that I can get my digestion a bit under control before I have to be in a bikini all the time (I struggle BADLY with bloating all the time), but oh well! It is what it is, right?

How has you’re week been so far?

Good call on taking a day off! Hawaii sounds awesome!!! I love pancakes + waffles but I don’t have them often-ha. It doesn’t help that my husband is gluten intolerant and we haven’t found a good g/f mix. Oh well, vacation in Naples FL is only 7 days away! Yes!

I’m pretty excited for Hawaii – one more week! The waffle I made doesn’t have gluten in it – the protein powder is gluten free. 🙂 We’re both going on vaca at the same time – woo!

Ha, that is cool! Vacations=the best! I am making up for lost time re; travel and it’s fun:) this is a new place for me:) hope to get sun and collect shells–oh and memories—for real! Good to know re; the protein powder-thx!

I think they’re cute, but I actually haven’t worn one for a long period of time yet haha! But trying them on they seem like a less supportive sports bra. So no strenuous activity, but they’d be wayyyyyyyy more comfortable than a real bra. Banana?? I’ll have to try that!!

I need to try out your waffle recipe! I *try* to make waffles/pancakes with coconut flour & they end up being a mess more often than not. Right now, we have this chocolate cookie crunch protein powder so I wonder how that would taste??!

I’m not sure how it works with other protein powders, but the one I used was spectacular. I’d assume it’d work similar, though. I burned the sh** out of my arm on the waffle maker last night, though. Whoops. That PP sounds AWESOME!
