Workin’ on the weekend …

Monday, again! I have a super short week, so I’ll try not to complain. 😉

So, I did my first fitness post on Friday – did you guys like it? I hope so. I put up this post on my personal Facebook page on Friday and I thought I was going crazy.

Weight Loss

All those likes and comments – for me? I kept telling my sister I didn’t know how to handle it haha. Plus, I’ve already had people reach out to me asking what I’ve been doing because it inspires them. INSPIRES THEM?! What? I’m inspiring people? That’s probably the best compliment … well, ever. My sister always knows how to keep me laughing, though.


Friday was a bit out of control in terms of my treat meal (which turned into a treat day, pretty much), but that’s okay. Once my sister was done with work, we headed over to Kroll’s (East Green Bay, because the West GB Kroll’s is NOT the one you should go to … says me). I got a hamburger, onion rings and a chocolate malt and it was the best.thing.ever.

It was pretty late when we left and we were going to go to TJ Maxx, but we decided against it and went home. I actually stayed up past Grandma time and didn’t go to bed until 11:30 – WHOA. I know. Partayyyyy animal.

Saturday I slept in until about 9 which was AWESOME and then went and worked out. I went back home for a few hours before having to go back to the gym for work. The gym was DEAD, which I was expecting since it was in the 70s all weekend. It sucked sitting at the front desk, staring at the gorgeous weather. Boring night! I think I had maybe 30 people check in with me the entire 7 hours I was there?


I ended up switching hours with a coworker, so I opened the gym on Sunday morning (instead of closing). Made the morning a bit tiresome, but I was glad to have part of my day.

Once my coworker came in to relieve me at 2 p.m., I took to the weight room to get some upper body in.


After that I headed home, but I was SO starving that I somehow convinced myself that a second treat meal was necessary. Ugh, Jessie! But …


After Margaritas (plus a gazillion chips and salsa – though my sister and I did share fajitas so HEALTH), we headed over to get … you guessed it …


I mean, go big or go home, amiright? 😉

I got home and didn’t pack (which is what I was supposed to do …) but instead watched some TV. Oh, and watched Jenny’s kitten get stuck in between the door and the screen door of my patio.


That brings us to this morning! I’m feeling awful today. I’m bloated like a pregnant woman (I wish I was kidding, my stomach is gigantic and painful) – no offense to pregnant women. But I got in leg day, so that’s good at least.

That’s it for me! I’ve got a lot to do today in prep for Hawaii this week and I need to pack tonight. PLEASE REMIND ME TO PACK.

      It really is! I did it (for the most part) last night, though. I wanted to make a video of it haha! But when I went to Ireland (a 10-day trip AND out of the country) I waited until the night before because I was so stressed!! And thank you for your kind words on the fitness post! 🙂

    Ha, packing–it’s so important and yet so easy to procrastinate! I said I’d do mine last wknd, started……slowly. I shopped yesterday, so after washing new stuff, that’s ready and packed. Yeah…….it’s going to take all week—kidding! Oh and that happened to my cat, stuck between screen and slider, ugh, it was a panicky moment:( You are inspiring re; your transformation for sure!!! Way to go:)

      Haha! I ended up packing mostly everything last night because I wanted to shoot a video of it for YouTube. I have to do some laundry tonight for a few last pieces! And thank you for saying I’m inspiring! That’s so sweet. 🙂

    First of all, you look amazing! When was the before picture taken? It’s like you’re a whole different person! You’re doing an awesome job & a few treat meals is okay. 🙂 Packing sucks, seriously. I always tend to over pack too. Like a weekend trip? I’ll have about 5 or 6 outfits so that I have choices, haha.

      Thanks, girl! The “before” was taken about 5 years ago. Funny thing is, that’s not even my heaviest weight, but I couldn’t find a picture of me at my heaviest because I refused to be in pictures!! I’ve had a few too many treat meals, so I might be a little bloated for my Hawaii trip, but ohhhhhh well. Maybe the humidity will make me sweat it all out. 😉
