And just like that, it’s Monday again! This week isn’t as nutso for me like last week was, but basically next week begins GOGOGOGOGOGO until … well, December if I’m honest. LEGGO!
So, instead of worrying about that (trust me, I do enough worrying when I’m trying to sleep at night) let’s discuss the weekend instead. I hope you had a wonderful one! Linking up with Katie.
Friday was a half-day, thankfully. I was so ready for a nap by the time noon hit, I could barely keep my eyes open enough to drive home.
Let me say, Thursday/Friday/Saturday were difficult on my diet and I totally fell off counting macros (aka went a little wild with the food) because I wasn’t prepared. This is something I definitely need to work on since basically September-December is full of travel and events for me, so unless I want to gain 15 lbs, I need to get that under control. 😉
Anyhoo, I went home, ate some lunch and took a nap. My nap was amazing, but I honestly could’ve slept for hours. I ended up running to the grocery store to pick up some sushi for dinner and sat in traffic for 25-minutes for what usually is a 5-minute drive. Woohoo Packer traffic.
The rest of the night was spent getting caught up on YouTube and going to bed at 11. #PartyAnimal
Saturday I slept in until about 8:30 and then spent the day catching up on more YouTube, watching one of the ladies on Periscope for her bikini show and starting to work on my client work for my new job. They’ve already assigned me two clients and I spent the afternoon getting myself set up for that and researching them a bit. AND to be honest, I spent most of the day (and Sunday) doubting myself and if I could do this. I might write a whole post about this, so I’ll set that aside for now.
Then guess what I did? Took a nap. I’m becoming quite the napper. I told my sister either 1) my thyroid levels are high again, 2) I’m pregnant (HAHAHAH I’M NOT BUT I’M A HYPOCHONDRIAC) or 3) my body is on the road to shut-down mode. I’m going with #3, so I’m letting myself have all the naps.
After my nap, I convinced my sister to go to Chili’s (because my bad diet could not be stopped) and then the rest of the night was spent … well, watching YouTube and procrastinating actual work. What did you expect? BUT Amanda Bucci (the girl I was watching on Periscope) ended up winning second in her bikini show, so that was pretty fun to watch. 🙂
Got 2nd in my class tonight!!! So definitely super happy to bring home some hardware and have something to improve upon for the next show in 3 weeks: @musclecontest Pacific USAs in San Diego! BUT the real trophy was eating about a lb worth of slutty brownies at @mybsweet desserts tonight with @kylerjackson_dedfit @thereallywhiteblackguy along with @ehfitness21 @carynnicole @kingaustinray and @staceysmyth for moral support 🙏🏼 (check my snap for the rest of the post show eats 👻amandabuccifit) and the show day VLOG will be up on Tuesday! For now, I have to shower while I keel over and remember what it’s like to be reeeealllly full. With good food and a full heart with all of the love I felt today 😘😘😘😘🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 GOOD NIGHT WORLD #fooddrunk #ideserveit #actuallygonnadiesofull #postshoweats #MyBSweet #AlsoHadBurgers #AndFries #AndPizza #HungryForThatOverall #3weeksOut
I think it’s funny that I ate that stupid chocolate thing and then went home and watched a bikini competition 😉
Sunday I woke up in a grumpy mood. I’m gonna go with not working out, not getting out of the house, not having any alone time and (like I talked about above) a lot of self doubt.
I spent the morning doing chores around the apartment, starting to write the social media posts for my job and then heading to Starbucks at about 1:30 just to get out. I finished up my social posts and sent them to my supervisor before I could re-read them for the 15,000,000th time.
Also, my YouTube channel hit 100 subscribers and I’m like … WHAT.
The rest of the night I spent studying NASM, meal prepping, chatting with friends and hanging out on the couch.
This morning was another early morning workout …
I did upper body + cardio and then went home to eat breakfast and make myself coffee. Is it weird that I actually ate my lunch as my breakfast today? I just couldn’t force myself to eat eggs today, so I had rice and fish. Ha!
This week is what I’m calling the “calm before the storm” … so, pretty much the last week that I don’t have an event until December. Seriously. So, I have a dermatologist appointment today and work tomorrow night, but otherwise that’s it. Besides studying for NASM and doing posts for my new social media stuff. I’m hoping to take on a few new clients too for flexible dieting coaching, so let me know if it’s something you’re interested in talking about! 🙂
What did you do this weekend?
