Weekend Recap: Three Days Off!

Good morning, friends! It’s currently 5:26 a.m. on Monday as I write this and I’ve been up since 4 a.m. If you follow me on Snapchat, I apologize for the delusional rambling. It was bad today.

My weekend started out when I woke up on Friday morning – thank GOD. I still woke up before 8, but I headed to the gym to get my lower body workout in for the day. And … well, to be honest, I don’t exactly remember what I did for the rest of the day. I know I watched a lot of YouTube and did a little bit of work. I also got my Lifted crop in the mail, so I had to do an impromtu photoshoot for Instagram. πŸ™‚

I’m seriously racking my brain right now because I don’t remember what I did all weekend. Should be an interesting weekend recap. πŸ˜‰ I do know that I was *pretty* cranky all weekend. I just need some alone time, you know? I never have time to myself and when I do, I have to get work done or clean up my messy apartment. I just want to sit somewhere, with no one and no responsibilities. I’m sure I’d be bored after 10-minutes, but I wouldn’t mind some of that. πŸ™‚

I REMEMBERED (because of my picture roll on my iPhone). Dani and I went out to “get a drink” (neither of us had any alcohol – diet coke and water!), but we wanted to be social. I got a card from a “male dancer” named Cash out at the bar so … that was fun. He was HOTT and boy do those guys know how to grab your attention right away.

I was wide awake when I got home (from the diet coke, not the dancer HA) so I stayed up for awhile before hitting the sack.

Saturday my sister and I met up with my cousin and aunt at Olive Garden to celebrate my aunt’s 83rd birthday – woohoo! Basically nothing there fits my macros (and to be honest, I went CRAZY ham on Wednesday for lunch and all day Thursday so I didn’t deserve a third treat meal) so I ate my meals ahead of time and then had a bowl of minestrone soup while I was there. It was gloomy and raining all day, so the soup was needed.


After lunch, I headed over to Starbucks to work on some posts for my social media job. I just couldn’t get my mind into my work and then Aaron Rodgers just sauntered in to SB and … well, my attention span was gone after that. I went back home, tried to get some more work done and called it aΒ night.

Sunday I woke up pretty early again (grr) and tried to get some stuff done around my apartment. I headed over to Starbucks (this time with a friend! I had a friend!) at 1 p.m. and got a ton of work done (plus chatting). I needed a mental break after that, so I headed to TJ Maxx and picked up two shirts. One was $7 and the other was $12, so I didn’t feel too guilty. πŸ˜‰

I spent the rest of the night scheduling the posts for my clients, emailing the account managers I needed to (for the clients that need pre-approval on posts) and getting all that done. That was really all I did! And then, of course, my body wouldn’t let me sleep last night so my 4 a.m. wake up call (more like 3:30 because that’s when the stupid cats started pounding on my door – did I mention I hate cats?) was NOT welcomed this morning. My friend/coworker Dani (talked about here up there ^^) is coming to relieve me at 6:30 so I can hopefully get in a workout. I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time to get in upper body + cardio (so I might have to come back after work), but we’ll see how it goes! Then work 8-4:30 … wooooo, girl! I’m a schedule/task list girl, so here’s what I have going on this week:

Monday: Work 4:30-6:30 @ gym, workout, work 8-4:30
Tuesday: Same ^^
Wednesday: Rest day (woo!), work 8-4:30, 6 p.m. call with life coach :), pack
Thursday: 5:30 a.m. workout, work 8-11 a.m., drive to Chicago, check into hotel, event from 5-7 p.m. (ish), meet with new friend??
Friday: I have lower body this day, but may move it. I have a site visit with a donor at 10 a.m., then lunch with her, then meet with new friend?? if he and I can’t meet the night before, drive back to Green Bay, crash on the couch
Saturday: Work on social clients
Sunday: Work on social clients

I’m not trying to prove to you how busy I am – I literally just copied/pasted my list I emailed myself this morning πŸ™‚ ha!

    If you don’t meet with your new friend we should meet up in Chicago Thursday night! haha I had grand plans to go to yoga at Millennium Park and volunteer Saturday morning, but then both events were canceled because of the rain so I just hung out at home most of the weekend. I did run my 8 miles and have brunch on Sunday though, so that was nice. It felt good to get the apartment clean for the week, even though I originally wanted to be out and about all weekend.

      Yes, for sure! I don’t think he’s going to be available until later (something something fantasy football something something haha) so if you wanted to meet somewhere around 7:30? I’ll text him later today and ask him when he thinks he’ll be done.     Working at 4:30, then workout & then going to your full time job? Girl, I don’t know how you do it! You are pretty much amazing! I feel ya on just needing a quiet place to do nothing sometimes! That’s when I hibernate in the bedroom but then end up putting in some headphones. That is so awesome that Aaron Rodgers just happened to come into the Starbucks you were at! πŸ™‚

      Haha, I don’t know about “amazing”, but thanks, girl. πŸ˜‰ I’m dead this morning, though (I’m currently working another 4:30 a.m. shift) and I’m supposed to get in deadlifts. Heavy ones…. soooooooo. I have a feeling I’m either going to have to come back late tonight (boo) or just come back in tomorrow morning and use today as a rest day!
