Weekend Recap: Tailgates & Workouts

Good morning! It’s Monday again and I have to give a presentation today. Not looking forward to it, only because I hate public speaking especially to a bunch of colleagues I work with every day. Anyone else? I feel like it’s harder to speak in front of them than it is to in front of 100 people I don’t know.

So, last week I was sick alllll week. We had a successful event on Thursday in Wausau, but I was dead afterwards. Friday consisted of cleaning up from my Thursday’s event and getting ready for my event on Saturday. I did end up making it to the gym late that night, though, which felt good.

Workout time!

Saturday I got to the college around 9:30 a.m. to get everything packed up for my event (you’ll see more about this tomorrow – I vlogged my whole weekend) and off to the tailgate we went! Alumni Football Day at the college is always great, and I only got hit on one time by someone that’s old enough to be my dad. 😉

There were way more people there than in this photo – basically I got busy and forgot to take more pics.

The rest of the day Saturday (my sister wasn’t home) I spent working a little on the couch, watching some TV and hitting the gym for … three hours.

Workout clothing!

I went to the gym, worked out for about 45-minutes and spent the rest of my time there chatting with this beauty.

Sunday I slept in a bit, finished up some social media work on the couch before noon and then filmed a video!

I spent the rest of the day running errands before making myself go to the gym. This workout actually wasn’t very good, but I got in about a half hour before I called it quits.

Workout motivation!

And … then I took some NyQuil and off to sleep I went.

I’ll have a vlog up from my events tomorrow!

How was your weekend?

Linking up with Katie.

I really want to try the Bye Bye Redness in your favorites video. Also Bye Bye Under Eye. Out of nowhere I got a cold last week and couldn’t run or work out either. It was the worst.

Ugh, these colds are the worst! I’ve tried Bye Bye Under Eye and I liked it – it’s just really thick. I’d like to try it again, though. I think you’d like them!

I hate public speaking too! I can’t even imagine having to do it for my job, haha. Hopefully yours went well today! Halo Top doesn’t stick around very long around here either, haha. I’m not a huge chocolate ice cream fan but yes, their’s is so much better for some reason!
