Hi friends! I know my posts have been a bit sporadic (and non-existent), but I’m back at it now! Last week was AMAZING, so I will get a Chicago post up soon. In the meantime, let’s look back at the weekend!
So on Friday, my friend Nicole finally put up some of her wedding photos (aka 550 of them – love her!) and there were quite a few interesting ones. Specifically this one.
P.S. How are you seeing this picture? ^^ Some of my photos need to be rotated in WordPress and I rotate them PLUS have a plugin that’s supposed to help and I’m still having friend’s (thanks, Shannon) snapping me my pics still being upside down. Any pointers?
Friday night after work, my sister and I headed to Chili’s, then to TJ Maxx. I came out with a couple of dresses. I wanted this mug, though.
And then we went home, talked about how we need to lose weight (we both started new programs on Saturday – woohoo!) and tried on our Christmas pjs. Sneak peek …
On Saturday I was up early to go and present at an alumni board meeting. I actually had a ton of fun, getting to talk to the board members in my communities that I run. I ended up staying late just to hang out with people.
After work, I headed home to relax, then back to the gym.
I convinced my sister go to see Girl on the Train with me around 8. I loved it, but I read the book. To be honest, this is probably the first time I’ll say this, but I kind of wish I wouldn’t have read the book. My sister was so surprised by the ending!
Sunday I slept in a tiny bit and then got to work on my social media freelance, which took me almost six hours to complete. I just couldn’t get in a rhythm! After I was done working, I finished my meal prep and tried to watch the Packer game. I finally just left early to go to the gym because I was sick of watching them suck. 😉
And then I spent the rest of the night relaxing on the couch because I could NOT fall asleep. I decided to kick back in with my Brittany Dawn workouts, just because those kick my butt so much more and I was feeling pretty exhausted.
I did NOT want to get up this morning, but forced myself to and I’m glad I did. Upper body workout is done for the day! My back is starting to show my progress again. I’m up a few pounds, but hopefully I can hunker back down.
And then I got ready and went to work! They’re saying 75, humid and rainy today. What are you doing, October?
Here’s to a productive Monday and I’m really pushing for some good news this week. Nothing in particular, but would love some good news 🙂
