Weekend Recap: Wedding Weekend

It’s officially Christmas season! Now if only the rain would go away. I’m not a snow girl, but this rain/gloom is worse than snow in my opinion. Plus, it makes it feel a little more Christmassey. 🙂

So I don’t have too many pictures from the weekend because *gasp* I was living in the moment, but Thanksgiving was crazy up north at my mom and dad’s home. Friday morning I woke up, worked out and headed out to Milwaukee to pick up Ben for the weekend. We went to Bel Air Cantina for an early dinner, walked around a park that had a bunch of Christmas lights and then headed up to Green Bay for the night.

Saturday was a slow morning of cooking and watching some Netflix before getting ready for Kayla’s wedding! The ceremony was at 2 (and we weren’t allowed to take pictures – bride’s rules!) and then Ben and I headed over to Lambeau Field to check it out. He’s an avid Bears fan (aka Packers hater) so I had to show him a real team’s stadium. 😉

After a quick late lunch, Ben and I headed over the venue for the reception! I was actually in charge of taking photos and videos (along with a few other girls) for the reception, so I don’t have many photos of my own …

Wedding Weekend

Sunday was a full travel day – I drove Ben back to Milwaukee to the train, drove back to Green Bay and spent the rest of the evening working on my social media clients. Monday is ROUGH, ya’ll. Send some positive vibes my way, please. I’m hoping this week pipes up a bit! 🙂

How was your weekend?

Love the idea of a bride not allowing photos. At my cousin’s wedding there were a bunch of her dad’s business friends who took photos throughout the ceremony. it was such a bummer since she had worked so hard to make the event personalized and intimate. weddings stress me out. so i really enjoy the morning after thinking about the fun that was had.

YES. I agree. I lovvvvve social media and pictures, but if I ever get married, I think I’m going to ask that the ceremony is private.
