And just like that, it’s Monday! Granted, I have a two day week in the office this week, so I shouldn’t be complaining, although I am feeling super nauseated this morning, which is making this Monday even more difficult! I leave for The Workshop conference in Phoenix on Wednesday, so make sure to follow along on Insta-stories!
Friday was a hard day at work for some reason. It was my only day in the office all week, but I felt like it took FOREVER to get through. Needless to say, by the time I got home, I was ready for the weekend.
I met up with my bestie Saige over at La Josie for dinner and we ended up staying out until 11 just catching up. She’s one of my favorite people on this planet, so it’s always amazing when I get one-on-one time with her.
I slept in until about 7:45 on Saturday before spending LITERALLY the entire day cuddling with Cora on the house. I did take a short break to go to Target to pick up a little food and boxes for my bridesmaid proposal boxes (video AND full blog post coming soon!)
Once Ben was home from work, we continued to watch tv and just hang out, having a VERY chill day. I normally don’t love sitting around all day, but for some reason, my body was craving it.
I slept in until 9 on Sunday and it.was.glorious! I spent the morning cleaning up a bit, doing my hair (for the first time in over a week, ha!) and hanging out with Ben. He left around 11 to go work on his new business with his cousin and I spent some time putting together my bridesmaid boxes!
The boxes for two of the girls are one theme, and the other three are another theme. I did use all gold boxes and tissue paper, though. I put everything together (and filmed it!) before Ben got home and I could print out the cards I made for them. Basically I have no idea how to use his printer, so I had to wait for him. 😂
We were supposed to drive to the ‘burbs and hang out with his family for the Super Bowl, but it was snowing most of the day unfortunately. 🙁 I was really looking forward to going, especially since I’ve basically been stuck in the house all weekend! But it just wasn’t worth the drive in the bad weather.
Ben and I headed out to Target to pick up some Super Bowl snacks since we weren’t going to the ‘burbs anymore and then cheered on the Eagles for the night! What a good game!
How was your weekend? Were you happy with the outcome of the Super Bowl or were you more interested in the commercials?
